Matthew is a British expat, and the Pencraft award-winning author of the urban fantasy title “The Graveyard Girl and the Boneyard Boy,” under the pen name of Martin Matthews. His formative years in Greater London exposed him to a rich intersection of culture and tradition, an experience that imparts historical authenticity to his storytelling. His literary expertise extends beyond authorship, as he has also worked as a professional manuscript editor, audiobook producer, and publisher, honing his skills in crafting compelling narratives. He has a deep love of classic fantasy and history.
Renee brings a wealth of real-world experience to their writing partnership. A scientist with over two decades in the plant industry, Renee has a deep love of growing things. As the grandchild of Puerto Rican and Italian immigrants, she grew up in a diverse area of Los Angeles County. Her love of books began early (she sometimes got in trouble for reading under the dinner table). Renee’s background and heritage inspired the environmental themes and blend of cultures in DRAGONSOULS.
